Welcome folks to the Limited Championship Qualifier team! We got some important info to read so please ensure you go through it all. Tobi will be your Head Judge, with [judge redacted] as HJ while Tobi is on break (Round 4). I'm very excited to work with all of you

This event will have pre-registered pools. [judge redacted] is going to take point on passing out product, and assigning specific rows to people. 

We'll try to get players to raise their hands if they don't have product.
Make sure you have pens on hand for players that don't have pens.
Players will open their product.
The players need to write their name on the front of the sheet and their table number in the top right.
Players will pass their pools and their verifier will write their name at the bottom.
Players will have 10 minutes for verification.
Players will pass the pools back to their owners.
They'll have 30 minutes for build.
When you pick up a list check for player's name, table number, basic lands registered, deck registered and the verifiers name. 
Players can change basic lands before round one with no penalty.

Ensure the event gets swept of ghosts. Ensure all time extensions are covered. While the scorekeeper might be pushing updates to purple fox, I want to encourage you to also learn how to do this and take point if the scorekeeper is busy. I recommend having [judge redacted] constantly sweep for ghosts after the two of you complete the first sweep. Mark ghosts by adding a +50 minute time extension. At 2 minutes left in the round judges should come find [judge redacted] at a specified table number for table assignments.

Set up pairings boards in the morning, if we go over 300 players, please use two letter ranges. Ensure pairings get posted. Ensure pairings are taken down 25 minutes into the round. After pairings are posted be available to the scorekeeper to help with any repairs or other player issues.

General Event Info: 
All time extensions will be in Purple Fox. I'd prefer people didn't leave slips at the table. If you are assigned a table for end of round please mark yourself as sitting at the table in purple fox. For any HCEs, reversing decision, complicated backups or any calls you aren't quite sure about, please consult with another judge. For any Game losses or match losses for things other than tardiness please consult with myself or [judge redacted]. Finally for any appeals or investigations please come to myself (Tob) or [judge redacted] if I'm on break. If both of us are busy, any main event red shirt will be sufficient as well. For no shows, please take note of the present player and take them to the scorekeeper directly. 

The floors of the venue are hard, so please got off your feet if needed, drink plenty of water. If you need 5 minute break to take in the great fresh air and view (and rain), let us know.
